Andrea Pfeiffer grew up in Lexington, KY where her lifelong love of reading and writing began. Encouraged by her parents and her friends, she started writing short stories at a young age.

Andrea moved to Cincinnati to attend Xavier University where she studied English Literature. While still in school, she found a little children’s bookstore in Oakley called Blue Manatee. After badgering them into giving her a job, she ended up staying there for 10 years, eventually becoming the manager. It was an education in KidLit that has proven invaluable.

Still in Cincinnati, Andrea is living with her husband and raising a daughter while pursuing a career as a writer. Her first children’s book BABY MONSTER will be released this Fall.
