Baby Monster ARCs Have Arrived!

Monday was a big day for me. First, my Chrissy Teigen for Quay Australia sunglasses arrived. Then, my mother’s day gift of a new laptop arrived. Finally, the Advanced Reader Copies or BABY MONSTER arrived!

It’s such an odd sensation to see your name in print after years of work. I was immediately overwhelmed by the enormity of it all. Followed quickly by the crippling anxiety that this is all actually happening. Of course every editing decision that I’ve made over the past two years came rushing into my head. Was this punctuation choice a mistake? Should we have gone with my original title idea? Is anyone going to think this is funny? Well, at least my mom will like it.

I’m sure so many people deal with this imposter syndrome, but it’s definitely trippy to feel like a fraud while looking at your name on the cover of your first book.

I honestly can’t put into words what it means to be able to share this moment with you all. I’m finally reaching the top of a hill I’ve been climbing for two years (or a lifetime?) and I know I owe so much thanks to everyone who was with me on this journey. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
